Pedestals for NIVO® wood decks

Developed by wood engineers, NIVO pedestals offer a full range of adjustable PVC pedestals specially intended for the installation of wood decks on deck tiles (wood or concrete).

Ranging from 25 to 240 mm in height, all of our pedestals are height adjustable and guarantee assembly robustness and precision for your deck on tiles. Material quality helps us ensure resistance to any bad weather, UV rays, and remarkable stability, proof of our products' quality.

NIVO pedestals are calibrated and sized in order to achieve maximum quality. In effect, the pedestal base (Ø 20 cm = 314 cm²) is sufficiently large to avoid the indentation of the deck into the natural ground. And the rotation screw diameter is one of the largest on the market, thus offering excellent pedestal stability.

Moreover, each pedestal head is equipped with four lugs which can receive any type of tile: wood, gravel, concrete...

Thanks to its rotative screw system, the NIVO® pedestal enables very easy implementation. The adjustment of the structure level is simplified as much as possible.

In fact, NIVO has developed a pedestal range specially intended for the installation of wooden decks on joists or concrete grating tiles or self-supporting wood. Solid and resistant to a load of at least one tonne, our pedestals are adjustable in height and easy to install. NIVO pedestals are adjustable in height from 40 to 60 mm. To complete the height range, a 6-cm height extender may be inserted between the base and the support.

Moreover, our pedestals are all compliant with Building Codes. The acceptable load per pedestal is therefore 1,000 kg to comply with after the Building Codes (compression test report upon request).

These must be installed on stabilised land (waterproof, concrete, sand, plant soil...). To prevent plant growth under the deck, it is highly recommended to lay down geotextile fabric.

NIVO pedestals for tiles help to install concrete or wood self-supporting tiles between lugs. To do so, count on an average of 4 to 5 pedestals per m2 in order to achieve a stable and robust area.
